| Bacterial Vaginosis is one of the most common vaginal infection in women. Bacterial Vaginosis is caused by an overgrowth of the normal bacteria in a woman's body. Sometimes your system becomes unbalanced and the bad bacteria cause an infection. Bacterial Vaginosis can be caused by poor nutrition, stress or a lapse in hygiene. Women with Bacterial Vaginosis may have an abnormal vaginal discharge with an unpleasant fishy or musky odor. Discharge is usually white or gray and sometimes yellow. Women with BV may also have burning during urination or itching around the outside of the vagina, or both. Some women show no signs or symptoms at all.
