Pink eye, also known as Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva, the clear membrane that covers the white part of the eye and lines the inner surface of the eyelids. This inflammation may lead to redness, tearing, discharge, itching, and pain.

Pinkeye is a fairly common condition and usually causes no danger to the eye or your child's vision.

Some Effective home Remedies are:

Ingredients: 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions: I mix the honey into the water which is warm. After the honey is dissolved put a couple of drops into the infected eye. Honey is a natural antibiotic and has significant healing properties. I usually do this remedy three times in one day and that does the trick.
